Title: Fusion funds, Having trouble understanding
Post by: Fallenour on March 01, 2015, 06:22:46 PM
From what I can tell, its simply just a pool of funds, which are just a pool of hand picked stocks and/or bonds. Am I missing something here? What am I looking at?

A friend of mine is investing in them, and Im trying to figure out what Im looking at.

JP Morgan Fusion Funds are, as you say, just a set of mutual funds with varying asset allocations, designed for various risk tolerances. And they're a spectacular rip off. Check out the fees (on the last page):

Tell your friend he can get the same thing from Vanguard for a fraction of the cost.
