Fidelity FBIDX/FSITX
« on: February 15, 2017, 12:36:31 AM »
Hey everyone,

Going to add bonds to my portfolio for Trad IRA this year for the first time.  Quick question, Fidelity FBIDX/FSITX has a very high turnover rate from a quick glance on morningstar and Fidelity, compared to VBTLX.  Should I be concerned? Am I missing something as a new investor?

Thanks for all the help

I do, but only because 401k is fido and it is available. I don't have an opinion on your question, but looking forward to some of the big g brains to weigh in on it.

My accounts are at Fidelity, so I hold my bond allocation in FSITX in my SEP IRA from back when I was self employed.  In general I like it.  I like using Fidelity funds when at Fidelity so I get the automatic reinvestment of dividends.
