Heard Mr MM on the CBC early yesterday morning - so glad to be alerted to this great group of frugalers.
If you ask about ethical investments here in BC, the financial advisers just point you to all-Canadian portfolios, regardless of whether that includes arms dealers or tar sands extraction. The basis seems to be that us Canadians are, like, you know, more ethical than any other country (especially those bad guys to the south of us).
Anyone got any suggestions? Doesn't have to be a Canadian investment, just available here for us to invest in.
