ETF capital gains vs distributions

How does this work? I’ve been invested for about 15 months, so this is the first time I’ve seen capital gains instead of a cash dividend for my ETFs. What’s going on? Am I not receiving a payment the quarter?

For reference I have the Vanguard Canada ETFs VCN and VFV held in my TFSA.

TLDR: you don’t need to worry if you’re using only RRSPs and TFSAs
