Direct Deposit Mutual Fund
« on: November 19, 2022, 10:00:56 AM »
I used to use Vanguard to automatically invest in mutual funds through my direct deposit, but they got rid of this functionality once I moved to their brokerage account system.

Are there any other investment companies that allow me to invest directly from my direct deposit?

Vanguard is frustrating because their website is clunky.  You can still set Vanguard to do an electronic bank transfer from your bank, savings and loan, or credit union to automatically invest in Vanguard funds. You can set the frequency to Every month, Every year, Every week, Every two weeks, or Twice each month.  In order for the transfer to go to a Vanguard fund, you must already own enough to meet the minimum fund requirement.  Otherwise, you can only move them into your settlement fund.  I think that's what you're trying to do.  After you log into your Vanguard account, search "Automatic Investment" and it should bring you to the right place.
