33 y/o, "high income" earner so I'm less risk averse.  Planning on working for at least 20 yrs

US stock   65%.  (large cap 50%; small/mid cap 15%)
Int stock   20%
US bond   10%
REIT   5%

appreciate your thoughts in advance

PencilThinMustache,

Your asset allocation is alright. My only concern is your significantly exposed to U.S Equities.

The asset allocation for my investment portfolio looks as follows,

Canadian Equities 22%
U.S. Equities 22%
International Equities 22%
Emerging Markets 22%
Real Estate REIT 12%

With the investment portfolio you are planning on you would have most likely had higher returns in 2014 then myself. I diversify as I do not expect one equity to continually outperform the others.

Let me know what you decide,

Mr. Captain Cash
