Has anyone ever bought these? The rates are good & getting better and the terms are longer than your local bank. I just discovered them and am tempted once they get up there again. But I just don't understand the inner workings of these. It appears you cannot get out of them and just pay a penalty you have to sell them on the secondary market. hmm...maybe that's why the rates are better. The big advantage I see is the 250,000 FDIC applies per bank not per broker. Anyone have any insight on these? Thank you.
