Capital One 360 Black Friday Sale
« on: November 28, 2014, 10:12:54 AM »
So if you open up a savings account with $1000 then you get a free $100. In affect if you held just $1000 in the account in just one year its like getting a 10% return. Anyway I wanted to share this with the MMM community. If anyone has had bad experiences with 360 for savings please let me know. If I do this deal I will need to withdraw this money in a few months..to pay for school.

I started this thread this morning:  http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/share-your-badassity/capitol-one-black-friday-offer/msg466893/#msg466893

I love Capitol One--have had accounts there for about a year.

Just doublecheck the fine print. Sometimes you need to keep the initial deposit amount for 90 days or something or they take the bonus back.

Capitol One 360's been fine for me though honestly I just did it for the bonus a few years ago so I don't really use it :)

I've had a CapitalOne360 account for years (back when it was ING Direct before Capital One bought it from ING in 2011).  They're good guys. No complaints.

Solid offer. I'm sure you have to keep the account open for 60 days or some other requirements like that, but otherwise seems like a painless way to get a bonus.

I've used since 2011 when it was ING. No major complaints. Good systems and processes.

Ironically they may take two long to process my $1,500 check that I deposited into my 360 checking account on Friday to take advantage of this offer :)

Thanks - I just did it. The $100 hits the account instantly and you just need to keep the account open for thirty days. $1000 minimum initial deposit.

P.S. I also opened an account for my spouse - so that's $200 free dollars

If you referred your spouse, would have been another $40 for a referral bonus. Did that for my wife and I during their July 4th promo.

Took advantage of both the checking account and savings account for the wife and I. Thanks for the $400 tip ladies and gents.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
