I want to figure out the easiest tool to calculate my rate of return adjusted for time. I have vanguard and other accounts and they don't have a great tool to see how much return i'm getting for each investment. For example I buy VTSAX @ $23 last year then I bought it again at $25 and $28. Now its at $33 how much is my return adjusted for time? Like 5% a year or 9.3% in total. Can I export this data somehow into a tool to do it. I could do it in Excel but it seems like such a common problem that there is a good way to handle this.
