Sorry for the newb question.
I've been reading these forums here and there when I have time and people always mention FIRE and how they plan/develop/achieve FIRE.
what is it FIRE and how would I go about developing my own FIRE plan?

That would be when your hair is on FIRE. And when he says someone is being purposefully obtuse, he means when they are being greater than 90 degrees on purpose. ;)
