of course, there are a few spectacular investors on this forum who are smarter than hedge funds and have found a unique system to beat the market.

So, exactly which Vanguard fund is it?  I can't seem to find the ticker symbol in any of the articles.

Hedge funds are in the business of fee collecting not investing for the benefit of investors :)

Yes it was the vanguard sp 500 index

You're comparing something likely close to 2%+20% of profits to an index fund.

Whether that's a proxy for value investors in general is still open for discussion
