Book or Resource Information Request
« on: March 01, 2018, 07:22:18 AM »
Due to my mother's declining cognitive health, I am now assuming joint trustee responsibilities with her. Is there a good book or resource (outside of the actual Prudent Investment Law) that is helpful for things like proper allocation, structuring within the trust, etc. It is a Revocable Living Trust and I want to make sure I'm informed of what needs to be done that is different from typical investing for her current situation and to set it up for ease of transfer.

https://www.americanbar.org/groups/public_education/publications/books_and_related_products/the_aba_guide_towillsestates.html

Also available on Amazon. I strongly suggest legal advice from a lawyer specializing in wills and trusts. There is a small risk that some lawyers will give reckless advice, so check that he or she is a member of the American Bar Association, or some similar association.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
