Title: Betterment's SmartDeposit
Post by: rawsted on December 16, 2015, 11:43:29 AM
I'm quite sure that this has already been discussed, but the search function on this site has been broken, at least for me, for several days. So here we go-

For those of you using Betterment: have you tried SmartDeposit yet? If so, impressions? Better/worse for your lifestyle/personality than premeditated deposits at set intervals? Do you use both, or just one or the other?

Thanks

They do not support my bank so I have not tried it. I have found the service to be easy to use and I like the tax harvesting it builds into the transactions. If it supported my bank, I think I would use it and put the shift of funds on auto pilot when then go over my set cushion in the checking account rather than logging in and manually transfer the funds. While that is supper simple, I still need to log in and get it done :).
