Posting to follow. Looked into setting up a 401k plan for one of the startups (~10 covered employees) about two years ago, but didn't find a provider we were happy with.

Thanks for the update. What were the best strong points with EF besides the cost? Did you compare to some other companies also and then decided to quote Vanguard and EF?

I'm confused. Did you get vanguard quote you through Ascencus or Vanguard direct? Your plan doesn't sound large enough to use Vanguard.
