« on: February 18, 2015, 08:05:54 PM »
I am looking to simplify my Roth ira at Fidelity. Does anyone have any good mutual funds they would recommend to consolidate everything. Please tell my why you choose a specific fund.

Thank You.

Fidelity Spartan Total Index Fund, symbol:  fstvx.  We picked it because it's EVERYTHING, so you get good diversification in one fund.

If you want diversification into bonds and international equities, see http://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Three-fund_portfolio and search for Fidelity.

Also see http://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Fidelity.

Anything from the Spartan series is worth looking into. They're comparable to Vanguard's low fees.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
