What to do?
« on: June 25, 2016, 08:39:59 PM »
Hey guys, I am 24 years old so I am just starting out. Right now I have a 16k student loan to pay for. I've been paying $300 monthly towards it. My employer does match the 401k, but it will not start for me for another 6 months. So far I have been using LendingClub as my only tool for investing. I have a standard account with $3000 in it, and I only deposit $100/month. Other than that I save about $1000/month in a standard 1% savings account. Should I focus more on paying my student loans off or invest it somewhere else?

You could make a case study of your total finances to get a better picture of your financial status. Then people might better be able to recommend what to do.
