Anyone use the Dough Platform? - Free Stock (like Robinhood)
« on: April 29, 2020, 03:45:36 PM »
So I found this platform as I was searching for someone, Ryan Grace, that I used to watch on Tastytrade (online financial network).

Turns out that he is now the Chief Market Strategist for the Dough platform.  I signed up a little bit ago... they are a lot like Robinhood but without options and crypto.  They are accessible only via mobile but I thought I'd share in case anyone want some free stock.  My referral link is below:

Review if case you don't believe me...

Hmm, seems almost like robinhood as far as interface..  Little worse but meh.  May or may not actually use the account after i get the stock.   But hey free money.

Also so no one needs to dig if they don't want to:

Steps to ensure free stock and cash can be withdrawn:
  • Receive and click on a referral link from an existing dough customer or download the app.
  • Download the dough app from the referral link and complete the application for a brokerage account.
  • Obtain approval to open a brokerage account.
  • Receive a share of free stock within seven business days.
  • Electronically link an approved external financial account and deposit $25.00 USD into your dough account before withdrawing any proceeds from the sale of your free stock.
The dough Referral Stock Promotion inventory is composed of stocks from within the top 200 most traded listed stocks, ranging in share prices between approximately $2.00 per share - $200.00 per share. The odds of specific stock allocation is implemented as follows: stock priced between $2.00 per share - $10.00 per share, approximately 98% chance, stock priced between $10.00 per share - $50.00 per share, approximately 1% chance, stock priced between $50.00 per share - $200.00 per share, approximately 1% chance. All promotional shares of stock are priced at the market price at time of purchase by dough on your behalf not later than the market day after qualifying customer completes all but the last step above.

I have Robinhood too, but I like this one better because of the video content that they provide.  I like the weekly Social Currency podcast, not that you have to use the site to view/listen to it but whatever.  They are linked to a financial network (Tastytrade) I watch often and I suppose they are under the same umbrella as the options brokerage house I use (Tasty Works).  Link is below if anyone cares to check that out... their current offer is 100 shares of stock with a $2000 deposit.  I'm not sure of the stipulations but the brokerage focuses on Options trading.

Do you watch any of their video podcasts?  If so, do you find them interesting/helpful/boring?  I enjoy them but I am just interested in your take.
