My wife, who works in academia, just learned that her college is switching its 403b's over to TransAmerica (she'd previously had the choice of Fidelity or TIAA-CREF.
I've barely heard anything about TransAmerica. Anybody out there know anything, good or bad?
(One note: I have not seen the fund choices yet--they're supposed to release those soon. I'm just asking generally.)
Thanks!

My company has transamerica for its 401k. The fund choices are fine. Relatively low fee index funds are available, but we are also hit with a 0.25% service fee on top of the management expense ratio that wasn't completely obvious until after I had rolled my old 401k over...

My previous employer used TA and they weren't bad. Their website was kinda rough and I could never see an easy way to follow dividend payouts but the choices my company had were about 25% vanguard funds which was nice. Also when I rolled everything over to IRAs at vanguard it was a very smooth process.

Okay, thanks for the feedback, this helps.
