For Fed Employees: Delay in TSP Update
« on: January 25, 2021, 08:31:15 AM »
4 months ago I put in to up my TSP. It just updated. I'm not sure if this is normal, or COVID-related, because I'd only done 5% until now, but something to know if you're a fed employee.

I hadn't heard of any delays with the TSP.

I've always made my election changes directly from the TSP website.  Changes are effective during the following pay period, so depending on where you're at in the current pay period, it could be 3 to 5 weeks before you see the change take effect in your leave & earnings statement.

Maybe I did something wrong and they fixed it instead of sending it back to me rejected.
