Today marks the day I've added my first funds to my Questrade account. Pretty excited about it, been putting it off for a long time. I've been using my RBC account the last few years for my investing purposes, but becoming increasingly turned off by their high fees on MF's and such. Though I can say I've had a decent return on the investments overall.
Going to start by maxing out my TFSA for the year (been waiting on my tax refund, which is about 5k). Need to do a little more research on exactly what I'm to invest in first, likely into ETF realm to start. Next step is figuring out the max I need to purchase for RRSP for the year, bit complex as I don't know what the construction season is turning out to be this year nor if I will try to go to school again or not.
