Title: 401(k) allocation/expense ration advice
Post by: eriksonr on July 15, 2013, 03:57:25 PM
My 401(K) is currently managed by John Hancock, and I'm investing in their Lifestyle Growth fund (ticker: JILGX). It is 80% equities and 20% income. The expense ration is 1.07.

I'm hoping someone can comment on the idea of moving 80% my holdings to their Mid Cap Index Fund (JECIX) with a .54 expense ratio and 20% to their Total Bond Market Fund (JTBMX) with a .56 expense ratio.

Any pros and cons as to this move would be helpful. Thanks.
