Hey all,

I'm transferring shares from one brokerage to another and it's asking for the name of my financial advisor. I don't use a financial advisor though. Should I put my own name? Or is there a "financial advisor" representative whose name I'm supposed to be putting down for the destination brokerage?

"Self Directed"

Just put that. They will know what it means.

Not applicable works too.

I'm guessing they ask so they know who to stop paying commissions to...
