Seed swap
« on: October 25, 2021, 05:54:02 AM »
I just packed some seeds for swapping, and it was so much fun that I would like to send out some more packages. Anyone else who would like to swap seeds?

I have:
Jærert (https://www.fondazioneslowfood.com/en/ark-of-taste-slow-food/garden-pea-jaerert/)
Rosa canina
Aquilegia (wild type)
Tomatoes suited for cold climates and short seasons: Goldiana, Solhjerte (Sunheart, orange oxheart type), Wild small red cherry, Tigrella, Yellow pear.

What I'm looking for:
Amaranth, especially hopi red dye
Beans
Flowers
Passion fruit (maypop)
Other fun stuff

What I'm not looking for:
Unfortunately, I can't import tomato seeds, since there might be a risk of introducing new viruses

@gaja I can swap some seeds.

I have this:

Beans:
Royal burgundy/purple queen. It is supposed to be a low bush.

Flowers:
Bee-friendly flowermix. No idea what type of flowers, as it was a gift from Honninggutta in an unmarked package.
Legevendelrot H8
Fløyelsblomst, lave blomster. I tend to combine this with my tomatoes and chilis and just generally.

Herbs:
I have a lot of different herbs.
Løpstikke/lovage, 2 years old, worked last year
Salvie/sage H5
Rosmary
Esdragon H7
Smaltimian/thyme H5 for sandy, low nutrition soil
Gressløk/chives H6
Peppermint
Karse/cress, old
Dill, old
Parsley, old
Lemon grass, old

Tomato:
Snegirjok, Russian micro bush, early season, grown in Norway by tomatprat.no. I have only received very few seeds. So I can maybe swap 2 seeds.

I would be interested in tomato Tigerella, if the seeds will still function next year. And Jærtert. And maybe other tomatoes, like yellow pear.

Oh, and I would like a few gemstone mais seeds from your daughters package.

Are there any import restrictions in Norway? I wont be able to receive any seeds through the post because NZ is really tight on biosecurity, but I could possibly send them.

Gaja wrote she can't import tomato seeds.
