Sketchy ad on forum?

Not sure what this is supposed to be an ad for, but it seems sketchy as anything, at best.

I don't want to enlarge it for fear of clicking through, but what I can see doesn't look great, so I passed it on to the mods.

so others have been experiencing the frequent page-crashes too?  I thought it was due to my VPN and firewall, but maybe it's more universal...

we had similar problems several years ago before they switched servers.  Wonder if that's happening again.

Can anyone else confirm seeing this?

My guess is you have something installed on your computer putting injecting ads--you may need to run an adware scan.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

His screenshot shows the AdChoice logo that the current ad does. When I logged in today there was an ad for a very questionable-looking "online friend service" with suggestively posed teen-looking girls. My searches on this computer are all related to medical devices so Google is doing a terrible job targeting me if that's the aim.

Tangentially I keep getting ads for a fancy toy top probably from having posted in the "Top Is In" thread so much.

That has been happening to me alot lately. Cant move around on the forums without it knocking me out. Sometimes if I post a response will take two three times to go through. But i havent had the add issue.

I have Adblock on my computer, I never see any adds on MMM forum.
None on Youtube videos either. Seems to work unobtrusively.
I also run Ghostery.
