If you don't want to continue the old one because you want something of a fresh start, but want to give people some degree of context, you can always start a new thread, but link to the old study in your first post, with a bit of commentary on where you made progress versus fell behind during the intervening couple of years, then proceed with an explanation of your current position.
Either way, if you found the case studies helpful in the past, I definitely encourage you to post one again. Though you may need to ask one of the mods to move the old one if you decide to go the "resurrection route," now that there's a separate forum sub-section just for case studies!
