Can I mark specific threads that I want to follow?

There are many times when I find a thread that interests me, but when I leave the forum and come back a day or two later I can't find the thread anymore, mostly because it has been pushed down the list (sometimes to the second page) due to newer posts and new threads.

Is there a way to mark or label threads so that it's easier to find the threads that interest me?  If not, any suggestions for trying to find these threads (without creating a bunch of browser bookmarks for each thread)?

Make a quick post in the thread then it will show up in your "Show new replies to your posts"

Check out this thread for instructions on how to do just that. Posting simply to follow may place undue strain on the forum (it's discussed at length in the linked thread), so this alternative method could be better in that regard. I can confirm that it works quite well.
