Migration Issue - MMM Forum Bookmarks are Broken
« on: February 26, 2017, 09:01:10 AM »
I bookmark certain MMM forum threads and individual posts. Today I noticed that all of my bookmarks are broken. All of my bookmarked forum threads and posts now redirect to the forum home (index) page. Oddly, the bookmarked URL still shows in the address bar, but it lands on the forum home page.

I assume this is due to the forum migration. I hope this can be fixed.

E.g., in the Investment Order sticky if one right-clicks on Investment Order in

The Money Mustache Community » Learning, Sharing, and Teaching » Investor Alley » Investment Order

and then "Copy Link Location", one gets

    http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/index.php?topic=65299.0, which works.

Right clicking the USA link in the first post and "Copy Link Location" gives http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/investor-alley/investment-order-65299/msg1333153/#msg1333153, which doesn't work.

Right clicking the actual USA post title and "Copy Link Location" gives http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/index.php?topic=65299.msg1333153#msg1333153, which does work.

Ooo, thank you MDM!  I had my place-post bookmarked in Pbkmaine's Cheap Style Journal (which is around 37 pages), but I don't even recall which page I was on.  Your post let me find my place once I found her journal.

We are aware and are working on a fix. :
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

So is Learning Sharing Teaching new?  Because I swear I've never noticed it before

The entrepreneur subforum is new, as of a few days ago.  Before that, Case Studies was added.  Before that, Taxes. See the stickies in those threads for when they were launched.

Did you miss all of the subforums under learning sharing teaching? Or just the title of it (which was done in a reorganization of subforums a few years back)?
