Merging duplicate threads

For whatever reason, duplicate threads occur. It's good (e.g., see
https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/case-studies/reader-case-study-young-family-trying-to-get-somewhere/msg1739368/#msg1739368
) when mods close one and redirect to the other.
It would be even better if the two (or more) threads could be merged (
à la
bogleheads) so all posts appear in one thread. Is that practical with the Simple Machines tools?

Yes. I often merge duplicate threads.
