How to lock a forum journal?
« on: December 17, 2022, 08:52:30 AM »
I feel like I've already asked this once upon a time but I cannot find the answer, using either the forum's search function or Google with the "site:" syntax. If one wants to lock their journal, how? There must be a button, somewhere, on some page, but it eludes me.

I hope you aren’t planning to lock your regular journal…we need to hear how the move goes into the new place. And rental of the current place, along with DD’s continued growth, etc.

If you modify the first post, there should be a lock this topic button hidden under the attachments and other options menu. I haven't tried it myself but always assumed that was the approach to use.

@iluvzbeach I want to make a new journal for this upcoming year. I already have a pretty good idea of what I want to focus on and the format and content will be just a little different. Plus, my current journal covers a lot of turbulence over the last 3 years. That chapter is coming to a close and I think it's an appropriate place for a bookend.

@maizefolk that's amazing that button on the lower left has been there the whole time and I've never realized it. I guess I'm so used to all those buttons on the lower right I had selective blindness.
