Why do you want to close your account? If you don't post, eventually you just get buried in the sands of time. If you've published something you don't want found, you can just go back and delete it.

Same. I want to close mine, as I'm shrinking the leftover clutter of my old signups on the internet. I'd rather not leave my old stuff open to data breaches if I know I'll never be back.
