Title: Zoho website versus Wordpress solution
Post by: FrontRanger on April 05, 2019, 04:17:47 PM
I’m starting a new credit card tradelines company solely because the two I’ve worked with based on recommendations on this forum are garbage and have poor service. I can do it better with far better service. With that background of the type of company, what is a better website solution? Thinking of Zoho and its ecosystem of site, email, crm, etc versus a Wordpress solution of some kind. I’m not a tech person, so looking for some advice. Thoughts or recommendations?

I'm not a tech guy either, so apologies for not being able to offer a valuable recommendation. However, I'm interested in this kind of company. Can you explain a bit more or offer a good resource to look up?

If you plan on building this into a bigger company, I wouldn't go with Zoho. They build an ok CRM that pretty much only integrates with their other products, which are straight trash. It's going to be a major headwind to your growth.

On the website - Unless you have budget for a web developer, I'd start with a Wix or Weebly site to launch. If you have an attention to detail they can look fantastic.  If the company succeeds, then do a redesign on WordPress.

Have you looked at Shopify much?

I'm an e-commerce guy so it's like the old addage where I'm a hammer and everything looks like a hammer to me. But Shopify has built-in payment integration, apps that let you do drag-and-drop design, and additional apps to keep track of potential customers. Shopify's servers are insanely fast and reliable as well.

Though if that's not the right fit, I think WordPress is a safe bet.
