Not sure if this is relevant to many people here. (I do think it might be relevant to
@Telecaster
?) But starting Oct 1, 2025, Washington state will require professional services that use software to transfer electronically their deliverables to charge their clients retail sales tax.

BTW this is more pervasive that you might think. E.g., someone who works from home and uses email, portals and video conferencing per the new law (ESSB 5814) is now classified as a retail sale and needs to deal with this.
