marketing research
« on: May 13, 2017, 01:32:19 AM »
Dear Sirs,

where should I order a marketing research? I want to define promising niches in the market of a few states. But I am not sure whether I can do it on my own.

thank you in advance for your answers.

Can you clarify? This is too open ended.

This question is incredibly vague.

How about you talk to the target customer and see if they want (i.e. will pay money for) what you have to offer?

Off on a tangent, but can I throw out an idea?

Tim Ferris in 4 hour work week book talks about using pay per click advertising to test out interest in new products.

You would probably find the book interesting and useful. I think also you'd want to do what Ferris suggests in an ethical way (as I think he himself notes...) but his idea to try selling your product first, to test the market, surely contains some possibility.

It's been a few years since I got my MBA. But I would suggest just contacting a marketing professor at a small local Unversity , if you have one near you. In my experience, professors at small Uni's are very approachable and willing to provide helpful information to get you started.

Contact Service Corps Of Retired Executives - SCORE.  It's part of the SBA.
They will connect you with a mentor with experience in your industry.

FYI I got a robocall today that said " how would you like to repair your credit, there is a little known way to do it" I hung up but then |I thought maybe this is how some of the trade-lines market their product as credit repair service.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
