One thing I can't stress enough is selling on Amazon in and of itself is not a business. Amazon is a sales channel. Amazon is known to do all kinds of wonky things.
I've been selling on Amazon for years. I've had Amazon accuse me of counterfeiting my own product I created which had me down for about a week. I"ve had Amazon close my account down for no reason, not respond to e-mails and hold almost $50,000 of mine for over 90 days before essentially saying sorry, opening my account back up and giving me my money back.
With Amazon your at the whim of them keeping your account open, their algorithms, their policies. Amazon snaps their fingers and your business goes up in smoke if it's just an Amazon business.
Amazon can be one sales channel for your business but shouldn't be your business. I would suggest having your own website, then also sell on anything from Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Jet, etc, etc, etc. The ultimate goal should be converting platform sales to your own customers who come directly to you.
