Began Developing Financial Literacy Boardgame!
« on: March 06, 2019, 02:32:14 PM »
What is up MMM community!!!

I am putting some feelers out there to try and find some peeps that can help with a board game I am creating.

I have zero experience making a game and I am literally taking a stab at it. Ive played a good amount of BGs in my life and thought Id see what I can do. I have taken it pretty far but I am at the point where I need help from people with different areas of experience.

I have a rough prototype on paper with some basic mechanics laid out along with a basic outline. The main thing the game really needs is rough draft of what a complete play through would be / look like.

I know what I want the end result to look like but am ill equipped at the moment to push it any further.

I am a bit apprehensive about putting it out there but Fuck it!! Id rather have it created then to let the idea just sit in my noggin.

Anyone with game design experience / knowledge and little free time let me know!!

We can chat and Ill share with ya all that I got and we can go from there.

Haven't designed a game before, but I've played simulations for 50 years.

When you have the rules written out I'll be glad to go over them and edit them for clarity, plus make a list of concerns that you might want to address.

This is great. The first board game I made was as a kid with friends, baseball Monopoly. DW and I enjoy board games. I'm excited to see the result of your hard work.

My brother just started a blog where he reviews board games so PM me if you're interested in him getting to play it and review it for you. He isn't as financially savvy as I am, but he sure does love board games.
