Okay...I really wish there was an MMM YouTube channel.
Do any of you have any good ol' standbys that you always look for in YouTube videos for DIY home repair stuff? Maybe different people for different types of jobs? I always feel like it's a crapshoot and don't always know exactly what I'm looking for...any tips?

It is always a crap shoot. Only you know best what you are looking for. I find after you watch enough videos, get enough ideas and educate yourself on the specific repair you know will eventually know exactly what you need to do.

As an aside, video logs by MMM would be fun. The little video I've seen of him, he comes across as a really good, normal guy.
