I've done it on several cars (as well as doing a full exterior color change wrap on a car) and it's relatively easy. If you're looking at Di-Noc, I'm assuming you're going for a carbon fiber look? I've used 3M 1080 for CF look and it worked well. I've also used Vvivid which I think has a more realistic looking CF film.
Just make sure you do the prep work and clean the surface well - if there is oil from your skin and general grime, the material will not adhere well. Be careful taking parts off as it's easy to break clips. And I personally prefer a heat gun to a hair dryer. The hair dryer works but it's a bit more hassle as you need to hold it on a certain area for longer to get the material to conform. With a heat gun, you can soften the vinyl very quickly and move on.
