Lots of scrub tops come up on the free table at work, but they're always too big for me. How do I take them in to fit? I want to make use of this resource! Any other nursing mustaches?

You could probably also use another scrub top or other shirt as a template. Turn large top only inside out, put the other on top, matching the shoulders, pin along the edges, then sew along that line. You can also draw the line on with chalk or pencil (it will wash out, probably).

+1 on darts. When I make something smaller (bought at consignment stores or whatever) I often make 2 darts in the front and 2 in the back. They provide some nice shaping to the garment along with making it smaller.
