I recently discovered MMM, realized how awesome the advice was, so I dove in to read all posts. Just read "Rebuilding our New Old House - Want to Help?" (Sep 23, 2013). In it MMM has a call out for people who'd like to learn home construction/improvement skills in exchange for help actually doing them. Obviously I've missed that opportunity, but something like that is exactly what I'm looking for to be more handy around the house. I live in Bellevue, WA so I realize it's not exactly the season for home improvement projects, but just wanted to put it out there: If you live in the Seattle/Redmond/Bellevue (or surrounding) areas, would like a hand with some major home improvement/renovation project, and are also willing to teach it as we do it, please let me know.
