I want to put insulation on two exterior doors - they are cold to the touch in winter.
Is there something better to use than 3/8" cork sheeting or a thermal curtain liner?
-
Can you replace the doors?
Also, be sure to check the weatherstripping around the edge. Cold can just as easily be poor insulation as "air flowing over the inside of the door." I probably should tweak some of our doors before winter...

What kind of door? Wood? Insulated steel? Fiberglass? 9light? Full light? Solid?
You could add a storm door.

Duct tape and 1" rigid foam.

Wood doors.
They have weatherstripping - I'm re-doing some of it, which is how/when I realized the doors interior surface is cold..
Both have aluminum & glass 'storm' doors.
What's the R value of bubble wrap?
