How to install a URL on Forum

I like solving some of life's mysteries. And one of them was installing a URL in a forum.

So how's it done here on this forum? When you go to post, click on the icon below the I icon. If you hover your mouse over it, it will say "Insert Hyperlink". I will click on it now:
. So to get your URL to look like mine in first paragraph, after the [url you put in an = sign, then your URL, then ]. Then write what you actually want to have visible, like My Website, then close with]. Another tip: if you want to type something that will be displayed literally, enclose it in a "code" block (# icon):
