If you want to hide the hanging system (and I typically do):
-I hand sew a hanging sleeve onto large quilts, that runs the full length of the quilt to give it the most support. Then I run a piece of wood through the quilt.
-You can use a traditional method, use a contrasting thread so it is easy to pick out later:

-For smaller quilts, I put tabs into the corners (triangular) and run a piece of wood across the quilt. I have a 4" square quilt hung this way, but I prefer the previous method.
Some people will attach velcro to a bar that they mount on the wall, and then attach velcro to their quilt. (This can also be done with magnets.)
I've also seen people sew rings onto the back of quilts (or even soda can tabs) and put those on nails. But I think your quilt would be too large to support that way.
If you don't want to hide the hanging system, clips do work, or you could also mount a bar like a towel rod and hang the quilt over it.
