Bought it twice.  Both times it came with a key inserted in the lock and no instructions.  installation looks simple but i can't get the key to pull out of the lock.

Is there something obvious I'm not doing?  No way this accidentally happened twice.

You may need to turn the key to get it to come out. (I'm sorry if that sounds too simple, but it's got to be something simple.)

It could also be a function of the brand new (and sharp) keys dragging on the wafers, where a quick filing or wire wheeling of the key (once removed from the lock) would ease the edges and make the key go in/out better.

There are several reviews on Amazon for that lock saying the key was hard to remove.
