Good sites for DIY plans, ideas, fixes
« on: March 20, 2012, 12:16:14 PM »
Here's the ones I know now;

Instructables.com
ana-white.com
You Tube

Any others worth looking at?

I find often when I look for plans, it's all pay-sites.  Still trying to find free plans for a garbage box on Google, nothing yet that is suitable.  I'm a guy who needs plans to have the confidence to get started!

Not exactly the answer you are looking for, but check out the books at your local library.

I was trying to find some built in shelving plans online much to your same results -- nothing with clear, step by step instructions, photos, descriptions, etc. Then, I checked out the library, and there were so many books about built-ins that I couldn't have checked them all out if I wanted to! It was really helpful because then I knew the terms I could use for better google searching as well.

But yeah, nothing beats a quick online resource, so I'll be watching this thread as well.
