DIY Shoe Repair
« on: April 12, 2019, 11:03:18 AM »
Just got a new pair of pumps, and now have a pretty deep tear into the leather in the back of the heel. Is there an easy DIY repair? I wear them for work daily, and they're relatively comfortable for work wear. Of course I can still wear them, but I also want to fix it to look right. It was almost $100 on sale, Cole Haan, so was looking for some kind of diy repair option.

I've fixed similar issues in cars using latex adhesive Caulk.  Once dry, dye/paint to desired shade.    My 220,000 honda leather has been repaired multiple times like this and is acceptable.  Best
