Cool Rocket Launcher for Kids (or geeky adults, like me)

I'm almost finished with this:

My son saw a youtube video of it and really wanted me to make it for him, so I'm giving it to him as a Xmas present.  I've pressure-tested and no leaks.  I'm in the process of trying to be a DIYer, but I'm still a beginner.  However, it was not too bad to make.

Dont' bother with the stand, though.  Look at this video for a 2 minute way to make a stand.

I wrapped it in some duct tape just in case of failure.  I don't want any of the kids to get an eye full of pvc shrapnel in case it fails down the line.

This sounds like a dangerously awesome (and cheap!) thing to try.

Unfortunately, by the time I bought everything, it turned out to be $40 and change.  But, so far, I've been the neighborhood cool Dad.

I do have enough leftover to build another one with only about a $25 investment, so I may give that to a family member for Christmas.
