Anyone have experience with Hydrocork flooring?
« on: February 25, 2016, 08:08:26 AM »
This new flooring product looks too good to be true, but Wicanders is a well respected name in cork flooring so I'm inclined to believe.

I haven't been able to find any real reviews of the product, just promotional press releases and marketing brochures/videos. Has anyone here used it? Any thoughts on quality?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with this particular brand.  I have a similar product that I bought at home depot last year.  It is a vinyl cork look product. I think the brand name was Allure.  I had previously use a natural cork floating floor with a particle board substrate from Lumber Liquidators.  I was very happy until my dishwasher leaked on it and the substrate swelled.  I had saved some extra flooring for repairs but did not have enough.  Went back to LL but the product had been discontinued.  I was forced to tear up the floor.  I went with the vinyl product because it is water proof.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
