I could have swore I saw a blog posting here about F-you money and why it was important.
For the sake of my wife's health I've been doing the math on what's needed to get her semi-retired or at least out of her current job. It's a pretty big move up in our savings rate which will require buckling down. I'm hoping that I can bank 100% of her income from the job that is slowly eating her up. That should allow her to say f-you and leave in only a few more years. I'll continue working awhile longer to compensate. My job isn't killing me...
Anyway's I was hoping that the f-you money post would really ring a bell and help her get on board with the bad ass frugality necessary to pull this off. I can't seem to find it though. Am I delusional? Was it somewhere else? I don't read a ton of other financial blogs so I figured it has to be here.
