Transferring questrade margin account to TFSA.

Hello, I have about 6k in VGRO in my margin account. My plan is so move that 6k from margin acct into my TFSA on Jan 1/2020 because of the new contribution room that will be available.

What's the best way to make the transfer? Should I sell my holdings in the margin account and then transfer it then rebuy in my TFSA on Jan 1 or is there a better alternative? thank you.
