Anyone claimed HST New Houseing Rebate for big home renovation?

I've wrapped up a big renovation to my home and now in the process of collecting my receipts and applying for GST/HST rebate (GST 191, I believe)

Has anyone gone through this process before? is it a hassle, and difficult to work with the CRA?
Asking because I'm considering using a company that does the filing and works with the CRA on your behalf - but they take a % of the return as commission, obviously.

Any tips or experience would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

I haven't, but will be in 2020 for a new house build.....I didn't realize that renos could be included, but reading the link below, it needs to be a near gut job to be included.

personally, I'd try and deal with the CRA before paying anything out to a third party, you can always fall back to them if you have issues
